Cem; but for some reason it wont attached tonight. I'll try tomorrow. The short version is that Vaughn Tabernacle Cemetery is located (a little over 10 miles) on the north (right side) of HWY 117 as you drive west out of Jacksonville going to Rhine. Cemetery is jsut a few miles before the intersection of Hwy 117 and Hwy 132 (To McRae). Sharon Bapt Church located at this intersection. There is a HULLETT cemetery located north of Hwy 117 (right turn) on China Hill Road. As you're coming from Jacksonville (and before you git to Vaughn Tab Cem) you'll pass two China Hill Roads going north (right turns). The first is the China Hill Road the Hullet Cemetery is on. The next one is China Hill Road SOUTH; Vaughn Tab Cem is just passed this road on the right. This are some of that Huleet line. Once you reach Jacksonville you will need continue on north on 117 toward Rhine GA along 280. If you figure a triangle with Rhine to Mcrae 280 then Macrae to Jacksonville 132 and Jacksonville to Rhine 117 you are in the area. Vaughn Tabanercle is up 117 from Jacksonville I thing between 21 and 28 miles, if you get to intersection of 117 and 82 at Sharon Baptist Church then you are two miles to far from Vaughn... VT would be on right on 117 our Jacksonville across from a moble home on left and it about all in area, there is a small brick building at Vaughn but it not used all that often and probably just a storage building. From what have seen Vaughn is or was a branch of Old Sharon Baptist Church as my dad parents rest there but their DC indicates they at Sharon which is Baptist Church at intersection 117 and 82. If you take 82 east from Sharon you will pass Hopewell Baptist Church and then get to Macrae. If you look inside and area cornered by Jacksonville, Mcrae, Abbeville, and Fitzgerald then you find folks related in this area resting in a number of cemtery inside the area. As Temperance and China Hill areas are where many settled in this area. Not sure exactly where Friendship is located as been while since been to it and been to many in this area that unless was to be there and see sites counldn't place it. As for Sharon and Vaugh they were my direct ancestors rest so have been to them many times as well as John Willcox III Plantation, Wilcox Burial Grounds, Lovett Rogers Farm, Rockwell, Hopewell. As you look for the Huletts you might want to go into Rhine from Jacksonville and then up from Rhine to Estman then back to Chauncey and on into Macrae that way as there are a few Hulets in that area. Also try around from Mcrae 134 to Hazelhurst back 168 to Doughlas as not sure exactly which cemetery or where saw them along the way but some of your folks may rest in this area.

She is listed as a school teacher. Does anyone know where the schools were during that time and where she could have been teaching? She married a Roscoe C Bacheller (I have not been able to find the marriage record) about 1902 and my grandfather John Bacheller was born in Chauncey in 1903. I believe that Roscoe worked on the railroad. Does anyone have any info on the relationship of the railroad from Chauncey to McRae, the schools, and whether I would be able to find a birth certificate? Salina Edmondson died in McRae in Mar 1900. Is there any chance that I could get a death dertificate that early?

My Mom's parents were A Dowdy and McCranie and both had mother's Amanda Yawn and Amanda Vaughn. One of them goes back to a Harrell who is my family name down my father side making my mom my 5th Cousin and my dad my 4th Cousin Twice Removed. You caught me at a bad time trying to 'reboot' an old computer and drag out the files and get them usable again soon. So my main files are not at hand now for me... Both my Mom parents lived in Milan and are buried in Rockwell over near Rhine while my Dad parents are in Vaughn Tabernacle just down the road from Rhine past turn to Rockwell and past Concord and Sharon toward Jacksonville. My Harrell relate to the Willcox as well as a number of other family to include the Cullen and Lovett Rogers family of that area. William Holt Harrell 1811 is buried with his wife Sophia Hendley 1813 on land owned now by the Lovett Rogers family... Sophia parents William Hendley 1760 and Millie Ann Horton are suppose to be buried in unmarked land also in this area. William Lewis Harrell 1832-1913 (son William Holt and Sophia) is at Sharon and his wife Harriett Willcox is in the John Willcox III Plantation Cemetery with him and her mother, his second wife.... If you have any Smith Harvard in your bunch have just got to sorting some Ingelwood Cemetery photos and found some of these in there... Still sorting then out so not sure what have... Know where Friend Ship Church is and have some photos from there but will need to go through all my original backups to find them... as the ones sorted and named were lost by computer..... Also have some Allen and Hulett but at this time not sure how they fall into place.....

His grandfather was Robert Allen Vaughn b 5 Oct 1912 married to Winnie Bennett Smith. These Vaughns are burried at Friend Ship Church in Jaxsonville, Telfair, GA Robert Allen's father was Joseph Robert Allen b 4 Aug 1883 married to Mary S. Hulett on 28 Dec 1902. He died in Milan on 8 Mar 1926. Joseph Robert's father was John Vaughn. Interestingly Mary S Hulett's father was Robert Allen Hulett b 4 May 1854, married to Nancy Vaughn 10 Dec 1883 and died 19 Oct 1918 in Telfair Co. Nancy Vaughn's was born 1 Oct 1864 and died 19 Oct 1933 in Milan, Telfair. Her parents were James Vaughn and Sallie Pitts Do you have any information on these Vaughns? I know that Mary S. Hulett married a Yawn after her husbands death. How are the two Vaughn related, the John and James if at all?

The only part of this question I can answer is that Milan is split between Dodge and Telfair Counties, GA. My grandparents always told me that the county line ran through their house. I'm not too sure how true that was. But the first part definitely is.
