Read the response from wmharrell, he provided me a treasure trove of info on the Huletts. And he doesn't know it but info on my paternal line as well. My paternal great was Nancy Hulett, daughter of Allen Hulett, which means my grands were 3d cousins. Nancy married Ed Carpenter and her sister married his brother Vaye, who is delineated in the response from Bill Harrell. I have hit a brick wall with the Carpenters beyond Ed and Vaye. Don't know who their parents were. Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

My info on my gggrandmother is her name is Margaret Eliza Menix and she died 1906. They had a son named David also, wonder if that could be the one who married Elizabeth Ellen Vickery. He would have been about 25 years old the year of the wedding you thought was David ,Sr. second marriage. I feel certain that is the answer to the riddle of wives of David.
