Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Ad.2ADI/1062.1 Message Board Post: The book referred to here written by Tommy Brewer is full of errors and pictures mislabeled. Tommy had good intentions and was a family genealogist. But during the years he worked on the book, he suffered many illnesses which I feel hampered the correctness of the information in the book. I know this for a fact as my husband and I contributed material for the book which is full of errors and as I said previously the pictures mislabeled. Many others who contributed material and pictures said the same thing. It is a shame as Tommy was a good person and had good intentions. His age and health hampered him from doing what he wanted to. My husband is also a descendent of Arthur Brewer.

Elizabeth James Benjamin Fussell b. 1768 d. 1834 md. Lucretia Collins Jacob Fussell b. 1809 d. 1869 md. Lucretia Cummings Martha Fussell b. 1855 md. George Morris Williams Cora Lucreatia Williams married Joseph "Joe" Fletcher Now here is what my grandmother told me on the phone a few minutes ago (she is the daughter of Stephen Boney Jones and Sallie Fletcher): Cora divorced Joe because he was an "infadale" (did not believe in God) and said that he molested there daughter Sallie. This all happened when Sallie was 7 years old. She also said that he is buried at Blockhouse Baptist Church and there was a big tree that was grown up through his grave. Cora then married George Burrows, my grandmother says she remembers her: (children of Cora and George) Uncle Edward Aunt Alice and the twins: Aunt Orabelle and Aunt Oratene (sp) she also said they worked for FORD in Michigan, and that her momma never got to see her brother and sisters caused they moved away. Sallie Fletcher married Stephen Boney Jones These were my grandmother's parents. Sallie is buried in Poulan, GA and Stephen is buried at Blockhouse. Did this clear up some for you? Let me know if you have any other questions, my grandmother is old but she remembers allot, and can get on a roll! my Grandmother married John Knight his parents were: JT Knight and Sara Alena "Lena" Cravey This is where I tie into the Cravey family. Good ole Capt. John was my GG Grandfather. Patrick

Nancy Jane was the daughter of Allen Hulett and Margaret Lucinda Gaskins. Nancy Jane Hulett Carpenter married Charlie Bowen after Edward Carpenter's death in 1890. She is buried at Friendship Church along with Edward Carpenter. My grandparents were third cousins in that their grandfathers were brothers, David and Allen Hulett. I am under the impression they were twins.

Or was she a granddaughter? If so, who were her parents? Also...I agree that Allen Hulett and his wife Margaret Lucinda Gaskins had a daughter named Nancy, born 1854. I do not have a record of her middle name being Jane. BUT, I show her married only to John C. Cravey in 1884, with whom she had five children between then and 1896. I don't have the date of Nancy's death, but John C. Cravey lived until 6 Dec 1916. I don't have anything regarding her being married to a Mr. Carpenter. Could you elaborate on this point? Thanks!
