My maternal grandfather was Henry Lee Roy Farmer, son of Pierce Farmer. I found a Pierce Farmer listed in the 1910 census married to a Glendora Bushia and some children listed, but I've always been told that his wife's name was Mathilda Carmichael. My grandfather had brothers named Jim and Bartow. I haven't been able to find Bartow listed, he must have been under another name, maybe Bartow was his middle name. The Pierce Farmer I found had a father named Henry Pierce Farmer and Henry Pierce's father was Henry Robinson Farmer. Any help would be appreciated. I know that my grandfather had other brothers, whose names I do not know. He moved to Crisp Co.

Adam. Bernice is truly an angel assisting us in our search for our histories. I looked at your posting history and see a number of postings this week, telling me you may not quite have your "navigation" systems figured out on how these message boards work. Go back to the message you posted and click on Bernice's name, it will take you to her e-mail address and you can e-mail her direct. Another board you may want to use is Genforum.com. It is somewhat easier to use than RootsWeb, as you can go to the Telfair, Ga. forum, or to the particular surname you are researching. Too, the boards have a search feature that you can isolate key names/states/whatever and it will filter all the messages containing what you are looking for. The board works much the same as this one does for posting...just takes fiddling with to figure it out. Good luck with your search! Bernice led me to my Adams family with some amazing history thanks soley to her efforts. Jane PS, if you have any problems with these boards, feel free to e-mail me direct. [email protected]
