    3. I am looking for any information on John Smith and Margaret ? whose son Archibald Curry Smith b. 18 June 1796 Wayne Co. NC (who married Jean Love b 22 July 1797 in NC daughter of Edward Love and sister of John C. and Daniel (Donald) Love) moved to Gadsden Co FL sometime between 1819 and 1822. The father and mother John and Margaret stayed in Telfair Co. The Smith Cemetery at Clayville is probably where these Smiths were buried. It is close to where Edward Love's ferry was. It later became Burkette's ferry. Edward Love was married 3 times. The last time was to Nancy Fletcher. The Loves were buried in a cemetery close to Love's Ferry. Anything about the Loves or the Smiths would be greatly appreciated. I know there was a Columbus Smith who might have been a nephew of Archibald Smith as he was born about the same time as the chldren of Archibald. Archibald named his first 2 children John. The first one died. I believe that the Smiths were originally from Scotland and were Presbyterian. Thank You for any help on this family. Pat Hurst
