    3. I am in Arkansas but have a lot of information on Telfair County and a lot of books of newspaper clipping from Telfair and Dodge County. I also have marriage records and cemetery books from both counties as well. I have done research at the court house in McRae several times. I can also tell you how to order the files from the LDS library to look at yourself if you wish. All is not lost just because you can't get to the court house. I have been there and done that. I will try to help if you wish. Send private e-mail.. It took me and my brother over an hour to find it while traveling back and forth over about a five mile stretch of road between Jacksonville and Rhine. Heading east from Rhine towards Jacksonville, It's on the left side about three or so miles east of Rhine. There is a modern, 1960's-ish woodframe home (I seem to remember it being a sort of aqua in color home and it had a sort of farm look to it). The cemetery is about 15 or so yards off of the road and it has an old fence around it. Kind of grown up and under a stand of pine and cedar trees. Hope this helps. He was killed in a steamboat explosion. It is mentioned on his gravestone. It's in the old Concord Methodist Church Cemetery between Jacksonville and Rhine, Ga. Williams is my second Great Grandfather. You are correct. He is buried in the Concord Methodist Church cemetery. I have been to the grave and have seen it. His son, William Hezekiah (known by everyone as "Willie") married Lottie Viola Smith in 1905. I remember her well. She was a beautiful old soul who was very soft spoken and loved her children. The two of them moved from Eastman, Ga. in about 1942 to Crescent City, Florida with all their children. He suffered a stroke and lived for several more years as an invalid and died in 1952 in Crescent City. She died in 1974 in Crescent City as well. We have our yearly William H. Williams Family reunion which is the 3rd Sunday in October and it's been going on for right at 60 years. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
