Surnames: mccrary Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/yd.2ADE/1471 Message Board Post: James McCrary age 34 and his wife Malinda age 30 are listed in 1870 census of Taylor Co., Daviston Dist with several children, the oldest being 10 yrs old. Please help with brick wall. James is my GG Grandfather but I cannot find any other information about him. I do not find any definite on-line record of him in any census, marriage list, deed record, court record, civil war unit roster, etc. I have found one source of a Mathew McCrary bible listing a son James b. 1835 but, again, no further record of him. Any clues or suggestions anyone? In advance I am much obliged.
