I,too,have been researching for several years to find the burial site of my G-Grandfather: Seaborn Riley Stephens,1st Sgt,Co B,46th Ga. Inf. Schley Co Rifles wounded Sept 1,1864;died of wounds Sept 5,1864 Battle of Jonesboro,Ga. This research was begun by my Dad in 1937,and to date,no further progress has been made. Since Seaborn lived for several days,he might possibly have been in a "field" hospital around Jonesboro. I have checked cemeteries in and around the counties in the vicinity of Jonesboro and Atlanta,that are on line,but to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.,and thanks!
