His grandmother was Christian Wisham Franklin, her parents were Nancy Layfield and Henry Wisham(worsham). Nancy was the daughter of Levin and Lucretia Layfield. Levin was the son of Josiah and Henrietta Layfield. I am looking for any info on the Layfields and Cowhorns. We were told that Henrietta was an Native American. Any information would be appreciated.
