Would like to learn more about the Lockett family. James Lockett's estate in 1860 (Taylor Co) had 14 slave houses with 92 slaves; 1174 acres of land worth $81,777 Not sure how James relates to Sol Lockett and his family. Sol died around Sept 1912 July 26, 1904 Mrs. Lockett, wife of Sol Locket died on Sunday. Was about 60 years old. Large family of children, some of whom are Mrs. J.A. Matthews, James, Robert and Miss Emma Lockhett Interred in the family cemetery near Reynolds. I believe several of these Lockett family members are buried in the Lockett family cemetery near Reynolds. Is anyone related to this line? Virginia Crilley
