I'm working on some history of the small community of Griffith which is north of Reynolds....very near the Agency land...Flint River... 1860 Census Taylor County lists several Griffith families, and they all seem to be related to Ennis Griffith who was 80 and the widow of James and came from North Carolina. One of them, James Griffith, Jr. was 40 in 1860 and listed as a Methodist Minister. I'm wondering what church he may have served in that neighborhood -- Panhandle District. If anyone has any files on this family, I'd love to work with you. Virginia Crilley
