Barfield and Georgia Ann Whittington to Eliza A. Adams on the 24 day of February 1914 and recorded in the Clerks office of the Superior Court of Taylor County in book L page 4 the undersigned will sell at public sale, at the courthouse in said county during legal hours of sale, to the highest bidder for cash the following property to-wit: Lot of land No. Seventy two (72) in the 13th District of Taylor County, Georgia containing 202 ½ acres more or less. For the purpose of paying certain promissory bearing the date the 24th day of February 1914 and payable on the 14th of February 1915 and made and executed by Julia C. Barfield and Georgia Ann Whittington note being for $550 dollars principal and $250.00 dollars interest, the total amount due on said note being $800.00 dollars.
