Help me figure out the correct initials on this deed which deals with Joseph B. McCants. The handwriting is so easily confused when it is "S" or "L". (maybe this is Sarah) I did find an Admin Bond on George R. McCants...which lists Sarah and Mary as orphans. pg 553 Taylor County Received of J.C. McCants, Admin of Joseph B. McCants late of said county, dec'd Seven Hundred and twenty one 32/100 $721.32 in full for my distribution share of said estate in final settlement. Witness my hand and seal this Janu 16, 1864 S.L.
