Probably most of you have received your June issue of the Taylor County Tracer. I thought it was great that he included the listing of all the members of the Taylor County Society as well as the names of the ancestors that they are researching. John is eager to increase membership, and I know that a good many on our list are already members. For $15/yr I don't think you can beat it for practical, historical information about the County. John also WELCOMES any material that you submit. So please don't hesitate to send him information. You can then be assured of getting publicity about your research! I thought it was also great that he offered to scan tin types and also has the ability to touch-up damaged pictures...and he's willing to provide you a FREE copy! Did you also notice that the microfilm of the Deeds of Taylor County is now available, and I believe the Society is trying to raise funds to purchase it for the Library.
