Hello List Members, Thank you to all of those people who answered my query on POSS on the Wilkes and Taliaferro County lists. Miriam Poss Durahm is still living the last I heard in her early 90's in the Durhamtown Communiy of Greene County, Georgia. She is my aunt by marriage. I am trying to put together a little something on her family tree for her. People who replied to my postings say that Lola/Lori was Lora Lee Patterson m. c. 1908 in Wilkes County. Now I need the parents of Henry T. Poss and how many times he was married in an effort to fill in the gap between the 1880 census and the 1900 census. Aunt Miriam was a little "fuzzy" on the details when I saw her last summer. I will be trying to follow up on some of the links various people sent to me.
