Hi Rem I will place that note next to his name on the names I was given from the Alexander Stephens historical Site. They don't have a listing for the war of 1812. I am not sure I want to take on that task. But then again it all depends how far I am able to go with the civil war information. I am making a list of sources of each findings. Any reports or names you may have will be a neat addition to our Portwoods, Ogletrees, Edwards and Jones history. I am checking with the researchers on ground in Crawfordville on Sunday to see what additional history I can find to the list I have. I don't want to leave anyone out of this list.
