A mineral spring upon the plantation of Mr. J. W. Darracott about two miles north of Crawfordville, the existence of which had been known for years, have lately attracted the attention of several of our citizens. The water contains sulphur, iron, and several other minerals which we are not chemist enough to determine, and we believe the water is said by all who have visited it to contain positive medical qualities. We hope Mr. Darracott will have the water of this spring analyzed, and fully tested as to its medical properties. Should it prove to be all that is hoped for it, it may yet prove to be a blessing to the sick.
