Edwards has shared the photos of the tombstones of James and Mary Lyle buried in the Lyle-Saggus Cemetery http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ga/taliaferro/photos.html I was hoping that some of the others buried in that cemetery might be known by some of you. How did the Bailey family connect? Or Elizabeth Choron? It is so sad to see all the infants buried here in the Obed Saggus family. I hope some of their children lived. SAGGUS - LYLE Family Cemetery Located 1.1. miles north of the Georgia Forestry Commission Fire Tower near Sandy Cross on a road identified as Road #6 on the county map. It is also known as the Saggus Place Road or the Fire Tower Road. The cemetery is on the east side of the road encircled by an iron fence.
