This cemetery information is another example of how very important Wiley Jones's work was back in 1984. We can all be grateful for his diligence in tracking down these cemeteries in Taliaferro County. I wonder if this site could even be found today? Does anyone know? I sure would like to know the connection between Swann family and Billingslea. And were there other graves there as well? BILLINGSLEA-SWANN This site is located approximately one mile west of S2182 or the Level Hill-Sandy Cross Road about one mile north of the cross roads in Sandy Cross on land belonging to Continental Can Company. There is a field road cut out by the timber company that passes by the cemetery but it is now almost impassable by vehicle. The cemetery is in a clump of trees that were left when the land was recently clear cut but the graves were disturbed (1984) Martha Billingslea 1777-1836 John W.
