Virginia. I made a bad mistake in my previous message. Pearson B. Monk did not marry the widow of William Bell. It looks like he married, as his second wife, Sarah W. Bell, daughter of Lucy and Joshua Bell, and SISTER of William Bell, not his widow. I just checked some of Wiley Jones cemetery records and found that there is a small cemetery near Liberty Hall where William Bell is buried - died Apr. 11, 1859, and his wife Sallie Bell also buried there, died March 7, 1959. I then realized I had the wrong Sarah Bell married to Pearson B. Monk and checked further. I sincerely apologize for posting the incorrect information.
