This wife, Angeline, is a actually the second wife. The mother of the first three children was Sarah Hightower, daughter of Joshua and Sally Dean in Laurens Co., GA. She is listed as deceased in her father's will signed in 4/1847. I've hit the proverbial stone wall re: this John McDaniel/McDonald.
