Eva ByeDell Wimberly June 5, 1918 - May 28, 2000 Talbotton - Mrs. Eva ByeDell Wimberly, 83, died May 28 at Georgia Baptist Meriwether Nursing Home in Warm Springs. Graveside services were conducted at Centerville Cemetery in Talbot County May 30 with Rev. Doyle Moore officiating. Pallbearers were John Smith, Bobby Smith, Harvey Ingram, Larry Ingram, James Wise, Kevin Mullens and Bruce Bartlett. Mrs. Wimberly was born in Swain County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Harvey D. and Addie Freeman Stevenson. She was a homemaker and a member of Talbotton Baptist Church. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tom S. and Betty Wimberly, Jr. of Talbotton; one daughter and son-in-law, Connie W. and Larry Moore of Villa Rica; two sister, Irene Ingram of Woodland and Willeden Theurer of Founds, New York; one brother, Bryan Stevenson of Covington; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Tom S. Wimberly, Sr. Donations in memory of Mrs. Wimberly may be made to Georgia Baptist Meriwether Nursing Home Activities Fund. Talbotton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
