Hope some of you can help Nina Jones with this Mullins family. [email protected] At this point I am searching for information concerning John Lee Mullins aka John Lee Jones married to Rosa Lee Childree..I understand they are in the TAYLOR County 1910 Census as John Lee Mullins and Rosa with most of the children; but not in the 1920 Census. I feel they would have been in Talbot County at that time. John Lees mothers name was Avey Jones who eventually married a Washington Mullins and she was born in Talbot County I think. I don't know if John Lees name as a child was ever officially changed to Mullins; but when he and Rosa married it was Mullins and then sometime after the 1910 Census it was changed to Jones....Officially????? or did they just move to another and assume his Mothers name? Who was his Father? John Lees Death Certificate indicates Frank Windham....I have located two possibilities for that time period...how do I find out which one? I AM HOPING SOME OF YOUR ARCHIVES OR SOMEONE ON YOUR LIST WILL HAVE THESE ANSWERS FOR US. I WOULD WELCOME ANY SUGGESTIONS. We do not live very far from Talbot County; however I am trying to find out as much as possible before making the trip. to the courthouse.
