Edmund FINDLEY served on the Sept Term 1833, Talbot Co GA Petit Jury. In 1850 Talbot Co Census he is living next to Owen FINDLEY and listed as 50, farmer, b. SC with wife Mary-30, Franklin-10, Amanda-9, Andrew-7, Thomas-4, William-2. Edmund FINDLEY appears to be on the 1860 Census in Catahoula, Pinewoods Dist, Rose Field Parrish, Louisiana, where he is listed as E. FINLEY-56 with wife Mary-4?, Amanda-18, Thomas-?, and John-? We're not sure if our "Ed" FINDLEY was Edmund or Edwin since there was also an Edwin & Catherine FINDLEY in Talbot Co during the same time frame.
