Hay, Jr., was married before to a Pate in Elmore County and her maiden name was actually Waldrop so if this is true she would not be the Mary Jane Pate you referred to? I have some more research I need to do to confirm this information though. I sure would like to make a connection in Georgia that would lead me to the parents of Henry M. Hay, Sr. I'm afraid I don't have any information on Nancy Robertson other than the fact that she apparently came from Talbot County, Georgia and that she married Henry M. Hay, Sr. on January 12, 1842 and they settled in Chambers County, Alabama before moving on to Coosa County, Alabama.
