They were owned by John Haire "Major Jack" Walton. My Grandfather was Allen Walton and he was born in 1824. He married Mahaley and they shared either 5 of 6 children. I also have their names. My mother and Great-Auntie are helping me to compile the DOBs and deaths, though I can tell you that Allen lived a long life. As for "Major Jack" as he was called, he was a very wealthy slave owner with close to 100 slaves and I have a picture of him, his wife and daughter.
