Taylor county Guards - Ga. Willis Herricks in 1858. He was killed at Battle of Sharpsville, Va. in 1862. They had one child, Nancy H. born in 1859. 1860 mortality Census of Taylor Co. lists Willis's wife, Mary B. Herricks died in Oct. of inflamatory fever(possible age 23). Another T. G. Herricks of Taylor Co. Guards died Sept. 9, 1861 in Richmond, Va. Willis, T. G. and D. H. (Doctor) Herricks(Herring) maybe brothers. i am trying to make connection with Mary Gaultney. I think her first husband was T. G. Herricks. Second husband G. J. Lipsey. 3 children. Mary moved to Columbus Ga. with son, John Lipsey and was buried in Girade Cemetery, Phenix City Ala.Mary died in Dec. 21,2 or 3 of 1903. She was buried in Girade Cemetery, Phenix City, Ala. with Stalnakers or Edwards.
