We know very little about Jesse Herricks except his service record in the War. I have been through the Taylor and Talbot County marriage records and have found no marriage for him. However, if Mary Gaultney lived in a different county the marriage would usually be licensed in the bride's county. Also, the spelling on licenes was often atrocious. How did you come to look at Jesse as a possible husband? Maybe that would help me try and connect. She is buried in the same cemetery as my Herricks family was during that time period--while not much help, Girard Cemetery isn't real big. Let me know. Susan
