Tanya, I am also decendent of Jeptha C. Chambless. Am researching the line. I don't know if Jeptha left a will but his wife Susan left one when she died. It was filed in DeSota Co. Mississippi. I have not seen it but it is listed in that county. Do you have any more details on how long Susan stayed in Talbot before she and the younger children moved to DeSota Co with her brothers? Or of their life in Talbot Co.?
