Hi; Hulen Green(e) and James beck were both employed by the railroad before milita. There were many Green(e)s in Talbot Co census 1840-50-60. Joannah Greene m. James Beck in Dec 1849 recorded in 1850. James was employed by Joannah's father and listed as living in the same household in 1840 census Talbot Co. Lots of confusion caused by the fact that part of Meriwether, Taylor and Tabot were formerly Muscogee Co . Previously parts of ALA in this area were in GA.
