Wallace w m 44 chairmaker b GA; wife Jane 47 b GA; Thomas D. 25 laborer; Elizabeth 19; Martha 17; Nancy 15; John 12; Mary Ann 3/12; all children b GA. 1860 census has Thomas B. Wallace 33 farmer; wife Sarah J. S. 18; child Rosten m age 3. [Sarah's mother was a Calhoun.] The child, Rosten Shirley Wallace, was my great grandfather. His family later moved to Russell Co., AL, then on to Jefferson Co., AL. There is an L. D. Wallace on the 1840 Talbot Co. census, but the information does not quite jive. Any help will be deeply appreciated.
