I do know that my grandfather's mother was Elizabeth Stripling and that they lived in Harris County in Union/Jones Crossroads near the Troup County line. I think it is possible that Calvin met Elizabeth in Talbot County, but,since posting my query, I have information that his father(or the man we think might be his father, Rolley Spinks) moved to Harris County with another son, John, so it is also possible that they met there. Too many years have passed for anyone to know - all children and grandchildren and most of the great grandchildren are now dead - so I look where I can to find any information. If you can find anything, please let me know.
