To David Casey, The William Holt information is in Volume I of A Rockaway in Talbot. To Virginia Crilley, I don't know who James B. Phillips is but William C. Wimberly was a brother to my great grandmother, Laura Wimberly. Their parents were Lewis D. Wimerly and Matilda Garrett who lived in Centerville, Talbot County, Georgia. I have William C. Wimberly as a Colonel. He was born February 8, 1826 and died January 8, 1896. He married Elizabeth Tabitha Breedlove on March 1, 1849 in Talbot County, Georgia. I know of two children, Julia Wimberly and James Kimbrough Wimberly. There could have been others. I have an old picture of William C. Wimberly in a family Bible.
