    1. [GATALBOT] Mary Neal Barnes Blythe
    2. I'm researching the Blythe family who lived in Junction City, Ga from the early 1900's until the 1940's. Unfortunately I haven't found anyone related to this family while researching the family for the past year. If you are related to Mary Neal Barnes who was married to William A. Blythe, would you please contact me? I would like to know if she had any pictures or information for the Blythe family that was passed down through her family after her death. Thank you, Carla Miles

    1. [GATALBOT] 8 Fullers who died in 1916
    2. Ruth Bentley
    3. At the old Belleview (now called Presbyterian) Cemetery off Hwy 41 in Woodland is a marker bearing the names of 8 Fullers and indicating they all died December 1, 1916. Their names are Alpheus, Lucy, Samuel, Annie, Wade, Martha, Anna and Mary Fuller. Does anyone know anything about who these people were or how they died?? Any help in solving this mystery would be greatly appreciated!

    1. [GATALBOT] John C. CALHOUN
    2. Hi, I know that John C. CALHOUN performed marriage ceremonies in Talbot County in the 1850's, including that of my great grandparents, Wm FEAGAN of Jones County, and Janie DRENNAN. I have now found that John CALHOUN was a neighbor of Jane's probable father, William DRENNAN, and am curious to know if they might have migrated together from SC. Does anyone have info on John C. CALHOUN? Thanks, Zou Feagin

    3. Hi all, Do any of you have census transcriptions you have personally done? If so, please contact me. They don't even have to be county-wide, if it's a complete district that works too. Thanks, Keith Talbot County GA GenWeb, http://www.rootsweb.com/~gatalbot/

    1. [GATALBOT] Re: Talbot Co, GA JOHNSON & HOGG
    2. This year I have learned that George Washington JOHNSON and wife Elizabeth HART were from Warren Co, GA. They left Warren Co. sometime shortly after 1840 to settle in Marion and then Schley and then back Marion Co. At this time I have not found any other brothers in the Marion Co, etc area, but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I am still interested in learning of a HOGG connections, too. Thanks for your comment. Linda Johnson, 828 Lane Rd, Texas City, TX 77591

    2. My husband is a grandson of Seaborn's son William. William had eight or nine children. Lois Winifred Christopher, born 1914 was my husband's mother. We have started researching the Christopher family and are thankful for the information you made available in your messages. Do you know if Elizabeth Elliott's mother, Asena, was a Native American and what tribe she was from?

    1. [GATALBOT] John McDonald/McDaniel 1850 Census etal
    2. Below is the census entry for the John McDaniel/McDonald family. This family and the son John's family are in Lafayette County/Miller County AR for the 1860 census. Daughter Martha married Henry Bankston; son John married Sarah Yates. Does anyone know who the child "Ennis McDonald" is in this household? I've located an Ennis McDonald in the Early Co., GA confederate group.....same? Does anyone have information re: the John McDonald listed as a Justice of the Peace in Talbot County during the 1830's? This wife, Angeline, is a actually the second wife. The mother of the first three children was Sarah Hightower, daughter of Joshua and Sally Dean in Laurens Co., GA. She is listed as deceased in her father's will signed in 4/1847. I've hit the proverbial stone wall re: this John McDaniel/McDonald. Any and all clues will be sincerely appreciated and I'll be happy to share the information I do have.......Julie The 1850 census of the United States, 24th District, Talbot County, GA enumerated by John C. Mound, 9 Nov. 1850 Page 303 McDaniel: John 42 M W Farmer 200(or 2000) GA 27 slaves Angeline 25 F W Martha 14 F W 1 yr in school John 12 M W 1 yr in school Sarah 10 F W 1 yr in school Josephine 3 F W Ennis McDonald 12 M W 1 yr in school.

    2. Linda: It has been a very long time since I have worked on this. I don't think I ever discovered what E.J. meant. Do you have any idea? Some Hogg families did move over into Marion Co. but only recall the marriage of E.J.Johnson and Georgia Rebecca Hogg b.13 Dec. 1854 Talbot Co, Ga to Euclidus Hogg and Elizabeth Willis of Talbot Co, Georgia. I don't recall anything else...would have to check my files and notes..which are very..cold. I hope this helps some.

    1. Re: [GATALBOT] Re: Bussey, et al
    2. I will keep your information in case I ever find a connection. All I know is Robert Samuel Bussey [born Dec. 1862 in Arkansas] had brothers named James Wesley and Roy. I have not found a Thomas. So far, I have not found where Nathan Bussey fits into the picture. He just was in a census at a place where my husband's Great-grandfather might have fit in. So far I have found no connection to any Busseys except the ones in Yantis, TX area. Robert was born in Arkansas, according to himself. He went west to CA at an early date. He remarried in Alabama and returned to California. He and his brothers are buried out here This is not a line I do very much work on. Sorry. Sharon

    1. [GATALBOT] Re: Bussey, et al
    2. I just happened to see your reply which had Nathan Bussey mentioned in it. I am not sure what county Marietta is in but my great grandfather was a Bussey (Thomas L.) and lived in Marietta for many years. He was born in 1845 and died in 1895 in Marietta. I believe they lived in Savannah for some time before Marietta. My grandmother moved to W. Virginia and married my grandfather Stinnett early in her life. One of my grandmother's brothers was named Nathan (maybe after the one mentioned in the census). The other uncle was named Joe who moved to Florida. Uncle Nathan stayed in Atlanta area until his death. My great grandmother was a Ray and her name was Malinda or Melinda. My greatgrandfather and great grandmother are buried in the confederate cemetary in Marietta. I would appreciate any connection to either of their fathers or mothers. Thanks.
