Mr. Marti, Ohion was born Dec. 19, 1935, in Griffin, Georgia, to Mr. and Mrs. John Alfred (Agnes) Martin Sr. His family later moved to Fostoria, Ohio. After a brief stay in the Army, John met and married Mrs. Fern Evans of Fostoria. To this union two sons and a daughter were born: Denise, Kim and Keith Martin. John was employed at the Ford Motor Company and Atlas Crankshaft Company, where he worked for a number of years. John will be remembered and missed for his fun-loving ways, teasing, and his momentous gift of gab by his family and friends that knew him. Mr. John A. Martin was not only a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle, he was also a great friend. Family members who preceded him in death are his grandparents; parents, Mr. and Mrs John A. Martin Sr.; brother, Mr. Ed Martin (Ms. Deborah K. Martin-Tucker); daughter, Ms. Denise Martin Burel; son, Mr. Keith Martin; and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gail Taylor Martin. Mr. Martin leaves to rejoice his home-going Mrs. Fern Martin; sons, Kim Martin of Fostoria, Frankie Martin of Detroit, Michigan, Johnny Martin of Virginia, Alfred Martin of Virginia, and Trent Wells of Paulding, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Sally Wingfield of California, Mrs. Treva (James) Reese of Madison, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Aretha (Santiago) Andrade of Findlay, Ohio; brothers, Gary Martin of Fostoria and Larry Martin of Fostoria; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends of the family.
