    2. I'm VERY happy I could help you, you was more successful than I, I RAN through the cemetery one evening just before dark and DIDN'T see the marker, then I realized the NAME of the church DIDN'T match the name in the BOOK although the LOCATION was correct, unfortunately I was discouraged with my attempt to help then, BUT I'm glad you looked closer. ANOTHER example of what was documented years ago is still the SAME place but under a different name. W. Wilder, was listed as possibly being buried at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Spalding County. A couple of weeks ago I made a trip to Butts County to visit family and located the burial spot. It was just a short upright stone with no dates on it. It was next to a "Blissett" which is another name in my family. Due to a lack of dates I can not be certain that the G. W. Wilder is my relative but since he and my other Wilders lived close by I feel as certain as I can be that it was the correct one. Thanks to the person who sent me that information for going to the trouble of looking him up in their book!! Union Baptist Church is currently known as Ringold Baptist Church, #9 Jenkinsburg Road in Spalding County. Thanks again for the help! 3. Joel, Thank you so very much for the help on that search. I had been trying for several years to track it down. I am pretty certain it was his stone. My sister lives close by and knew where the church was but we almost missed the marker since it was so short. Name changes on places sure can throw big curves sometimes. Thanks again!!
