Hi Rick, Is it possible to narrow the date down in 1940? If so, an obituary may be easier to find although there was such a stigma about suicide, it was rarely mentioned. The only two things I can think of are looking thru the newspapers from 1940 or going thru a city directory from 1940 line by line to find the address to see who lived there. Maybe someone else has another idea that may help.
