I know that he died in Screven Co. in 1829. I don't have his wife's name, however, I have been told it was Cynthia. His estate papers only refer to an amount of money paid to "move Mrs. Freeman." I don't know where she was moved to. I haven't found any guardianship papers but I know his son, James Garrett Freeman b. 1828, eventually ended up in Wilkinson County living with a John and Sarah Freeman. I have no idea how they relate to the family. This is all I have. There must be some more information out there but I just can't find it!!! If you have any info. I would be grateful.
