Oh and don't forget the CC's that helped with the surveys because their rocks were rolled too far away or restacked a little bit more easterly so the plow wouldn't hit them or the boundary tree wound up as firewood one winter and a new tree was blazed in its place. Made for interesting neighborhood chats I imagine. But the best one had to be "to the middle of the river" and then the river moved and not to your advantage and you lost land. Deborah Byrd
