After reading the reviews at Amazon regarding FTM 2008, I won't go anywhere near it. I do hope there's something else out there that will work. Joni is helping me to use the Patch that FTM has put out, but so far, it doesn't work for me! The program shuts down when I try to Export an Outline Descendant Tree. --- "Dale E. Hi Ann, Some computers are delivered with the option of installing either the older Windows XP or the newer Windows Vista. You should check your system's configuration and the installation / restore CDs (if any) that came with it to determine whether there was an option to install Windows XP. It would be disruptive and painful, but you might be able to go backwards to XP if that option was pre-installed on the system.
