Hi Jones, The following is from Sonja Taylor. This particular Taylor Cemetery is between Lewis Cemetery and Bascom along Bascom Road. It is on private property and only Temperance Taylor's grave stone is left. She wanted to be buried next to her Parents William and Elizabeth McGowin. She said she would haunt everyone if they did not bury her there. According to the book in the library in Screven. It was a rough going to get her there and they even had to cross a creek. Joe has been there and he says it is way in the woods and hard to find. Temperance was quite a person and had a gun that she use to protect herself with. she almost shot my great grandfather when he showed up without letting her know. Joe has that gun.
