Hi Jones, I don't believe that I know very much about the Taylors of Screven County. Every time I start looking I seem to find more of them with the same, identical names and yet they cannot be the same individuals. Which is to say, the William Reddick who receives a land grant and has a plat prepared in 1804 cannot be the son of Benjamin Taylor (the Revolutionary War soldier) named William who was born in 1803. And there's more than just two Williams, I fear. And two or more early John Taylors. There's a huge headache for Screven County Taylor researchers just sitting there, waiting there for us to encounter it and crash into it. Dale it seems there is a lot of Benjamins, Johns and William keeps us looking. There must have been some Taylors up in the edge if Johnson and Washington Co, but I have not understand this connection. I wonder if the Taylor's and Pitman's were connected?......who knows?....Thks,,,,,Jones ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dale E.
