I've cut and pasted a Decatur County, GA Mark and Brands that Denise Smiley typed up in 2001. Many of these are earlier Screven and Bulloch County names, including my James and Elijah Remer Young. Hope it gives some clues if you hit a dead end in Screven. Sorry that it's a mess format wise. Lyman Shepherd's son, William Lman Shepherd, married Missouri Scott in Jackson Co., Fl. She was granddaughter of Wm T. Scott, Sr via his son, James Franklin Scott.
