Hi Carole, I am also researching the Slater Name, I don't have anything except an Eliza Slater who married Barber Cone, I have Eliza Slater born abt 1805 and died bef 1850, I have as her parents William Slater and a Mary (?) Slater, I have no dates for William nor his wife. Do you know anything about these folks. I have the Barber Cone line back to Capt William Cone of 1745. I have pictures of John Slater Cones headstone from the DAR John died, June 10th 1862,at James Island SC while in Battle. Any help with this line would be appreciated.
