It may be out in left field but I have an Annie Eliza Robinson(?) who married James (Andy) Pinckard, who worked on the railroad. This is completely verbal, from my grandma in her old age, which makes me wonder if I may be on the wrong track. Also I remember the name Rhoda (Dix? ) coming up.
