    1. Re: [GASCREVE] Philip Jacob Greiner & Catherine Magdalene Greiner
    2. The Catherine Greiner on page 54 is really Carolina Magdalena (Bornemann) Greiner. She was the wife of John Caspar Greiner and was the widow of Johann Christopf Bornemann when she marred John Caspar Greiner. She is the mother of Benjamin William Bornemann. Some of the land mentioned on this page is the original land that was settled by Johann Christopf Bornemann (500 Acres), his father-in-law Heinrich (Henry) Greve (500) acres, and 500 for Glebe land. Theobald Keifer was their neighbor. This area was named New Goettingen by the above after Geottingen, Germany, the town they left. This all transpired in 1752. Carolina Magdalena and John Caspar Greiner had Christian Phillip Greiner. Christian Philip Greiner had James Alexander Greiner, Sr. and Carolina Magdalina Greiner. James Alexander Greiner, Sr. married Sarah McCall and Carolina Magdalina Greiner married Rev. Moses N. McCall. Christian Philip Greiner married Easter Alexander and then Eleanor Kirby. Carolina Magnalena Bornemann Greiner is my six times great grandmother and Benjamin William Bornemann is my five times great grandfather. We have worked on this family and this land for many years. Bob Griner has helped us a lot. He has taken us on tours of this whole area. Alex Lee has also been a big help. We thank them both. I hope this helps. If you find me in error please let me know. 3. Valerie, thank you for this. In your research, have you uncovered the parents of the McCalls you mentioned?
