Has any(every)one read, on the Find A Grave opening page, "Who is behind Find a Grave"??? Do you feel comfortable with these folks being responsible for all the data you enter??? What happens to your entries if they decide to change their business??? Can one ask for a reasonable guarantee??? Probably not... The idea of having this information at your fingertips is WONDERFUL but consider how you would feel if you tried to sign on and received a "page not found" message. Not trying to rain on a parade BUT!!! Clint McCall In a message dated 2/5/2008 12:55:35 P.M. I find it a fabulous service and have uploaded over 2,0000 burials, many with the obits, personal photos and tombstone photos. And, the volunteers who go and take the tombstone photos are tremendous...all accomplished from the goodness of their hearts. This is the only way we would see many of our ancestors graves as we live in TX, not GA and FL where so many are buried. Please, do it! Thanks for your ideas Clint. I believe, and correct me if I'm wrong, that everything there is public information already. I don't see a problem. Would you enlighten us if there is a potential problem? Regards, Ann --- CHIPSfl@aol.com wrote: > Has any(every)one read, on the Find A Grave opening page, "Who is > behind > Find a Grave"??? Hi Clint. Glad to see your name on the list again. Have you any more definitive information about the origins on Charles McCall, son of Francis? 2nd question...is Thomas McCall, born 1739 in Middle Springs, Pa, died 1798 in Screven Co., GA, who married Rachel McCall, b. 1762, daughter of James McCall and Janet Harris...Charles McCall's brother above? I have your book, but haven't made contact with you in many many years. You've done such a very nice job of sorting through all these McCalls and their families, I'm checking for updates. Thank you, Carole Drexel Drexel410@att.net
