Bob: Crawford Aaron and Martha Hughes Waters were my grandparents on my mother's side. She was Anna Jane Waters. I live in California and have just in the last year digging into that branch of the family. I did meet with a distant cousin who seems to have quite a bit of the Griner history. He gave me a copy of an old picture of John Hughes and Clarissa Griner. He tells me the name was originally Greiner.
