Alfred: My mother's line fled Scotland to Switzerland and then came to the U.S. in 1736 landing in South Carolina. The third generation, Michael Waters, settled in Screven County and many of his line, including my grandfather remained there. My ggrandfather was Hardy Waters, my grandfather was Crawford Waters, my mother was Anna Jane Waters. Regards, Harvey
