I am appealing for help! I have been trying to sort out folks with the surname of Waters who lived in the Screven/Bulloch area. I wonder if anyone can help with the following marriages. I believe most of these were Screven marriages. 1843 William G. Waters m. Miriam Evans 1849 William F. Waters m. Ann Hunter 1849 Mary Ann Waters m. John C. Evans 1851 Lucretia Waters m. Benjamin R. Lee 1853 Lucinda Waters m. Francis Wilson 1856 Sarah Waters m. Joseph B. Lee 1856 Susan Waters m. Williams Ambers 1857 Matilda A. Waters m. George Jeffers 1858 Mary Waters m. Henry Sasser 1859 James W. Waters m. Amanda L. Usher no date Sarah Waters m. Abisha Bazemore I believe many of the above Waterses to be children of Isaac, Jr. or John, Jr who both were sons of Isaac Waters, Sr. who died in 1828 in Bulloch. John, Jr. died about 1841 in Screven and Isaac, Jr. disappeared from the Screven records a couple of years later. All information about these marriages is welcomed ! Likewise, so would information about other marriages of Waterses in this time period. I am sure that I have not listed them all, but I intentionally omitted those I knew were from the Michael Waters line. Jackie
